Significantly improved and advanced development of G-III with new Rolls-Royce Tay engines, stretched fuselage, revised wing and ‘glass’ cockpit. Design was initiated in April 1982 and the G-IV flew for the first time on 19 September 1985. Customer deliveries commenced in spring 1987. Total delivered: 450.
